Dwarf White Tropical Woodlice

Tropical white woodlice (Trichorhina tomentosa) are an excellent source of calcium for any dart frogs large enough to eat them. They grow to around 5mm at the largest and are rarely seen in the vivarium once established, preferring to live just under the soil\leaf litter. They are ideal as a cleaner for warm humid vivariums and will consume any decaying matter such as leaves or frog waste.

They are usually added to vivariums on setup and then to top up the populations on occasion in addition to keeping cultures for use as a food source.

They are slow to begin breeding, but the culture will explode once established.
