Moss sp La Llanura

An attractive new moss recently collected in Ecuador, slow growing and tolerant of low light levels.

This moss has been propagated my myself under artificial light and away from any animals. This species is very slow growing so rarely available.

Moss is a non-vascular bryophyte, meaning they don’t have vessels for transporting water as plants do. This means they cannot transport moisture from the ground so need to be watered top down on a regular basis. Most mosses prefer strong light (especially temperate moss), tropical mosses are better suited to terrariums due to their slower compact growth and no requirement for a cold period.
