Description: Known as ‘Okopipi’ by locals, this frog was discovered in 1968 and originally described as Dendrobates azureus but was recently reclassified as a Dendrobates tinctorius morph. A medium sized morph with highly variable patterning.

Size: Males up to 45mm, females up to 50mm

Locality: Sipaliwini Savanna, Vier Gebroeders Mountains, Suriname.
